World of Light

As part of the expansion of the Luxtram route between Luxembourg City and the airport, an impressive new bridge structure was built over the A1 motorway. We are proud to have supplied the entire lighting for this impressive structure as a partner in this pioneering infrastructure project.

Our high-quality BL AIR TOP Plus 600 lm 3000 K solution was used - a total of 645 units - ready-made including aluminium profile. In addition, around 326 metres were installed for the escape route - also complete with profile and power supply units. The system is weatherproof and waterproof and was specially developed for demanding outdoor applications.

The luminaires not only ensure safe orientation, but also set the bridge structure centre stage architecturally. During the day, the bridge impresses with its striking, modern design - at night, our lighting technology takes on the main role: lines of light intuitively guide you across the structure, while targeted accent lighting emphasises the special shape. The combination of functionality and design makes the lighting solution an integral part of the bridge architecture.

The installation across the A1 was carried out in spectacular night-time operations - with pre-installed BL AIR TOP Plus systems that were perfectly integrated into the logistics and construction planning.
